Forgive for a better wellbeing
It has long been known that religion improves peoples happiness- interestingly in a general population religion improves wellbeing by 5%. Research into a Muslim community shows that practice and belief in Islam improves wellbeing by up to 15%. Religion is a real demonstration of the balance that can be created by considering the mind, body and soul as one.
In much of the wellbeing studies undertaken (and there are very few within a Muslim cohort), wellbeing is enhanced by attitude. When we consider many of the things that trigger wellbeing they are practices that Muslims already do. With a little tweak the impact has the potential to not just be religious practice and earn the pleasure of Allah, but it can also make you happier.
